Camping is an amazingly freeing experience and it’s even better when you can go exploring with your best friend, your dog. Not all RV campsites allow pets and some charge expensive fees for having a pet in your RV. It’s a hassle to drive all the way to a campsite just to find out that your pet is not allowed on campgrounds. So, we compiled a list of the best dog friendly RV parks where Fido will be treated like gold.

Dog Etiquette at RV Campsites:
Although pets are welcome at these RV campgrounds, there are rules that must be followed.
- Keep your dog on (at least) a 6-foot leash.
- Keep dogs indoors at nighttime or in a crate if you let them sleep outside.
- Pick up after your dog.
- Be aware of poisonous plants in and around your campsite so your dog doesn’t suffer the rest of the trip.
- Regularly check your dog for ticks and dehydration as well as thorns and fox tails (feet). Don’t let your dog drink from any water source in the campgrounds: You never know what bacteria or virus is swimming in it.
